Smriti Consul
Parent Governor
Hello, my name is Smriti Consul and I am the parent of two children, one in Year 6 and one in Year 3. Both of my children love coming to school each day and thoroughly enjoy their time here. As a family we are very pleased with the education, care and opportunities the school provides, and I am keen to play an active role in supporting its continued development.
Professionally, I work in GP Surgery, within the NHS, which has given me valuable experience in working with people from all walks of life, listening to different perspectives. Working closely with patients and clinical professionals has helped me develop a caring, patient and solution focussed approach. I believe these experiences will help me contribute effectively to the governing board and help the school continue to thrive.
I am passionate about ensuring that all children have the best opportunities to learn, thrive and enjoy their time at school. As a parent governor, I aim to represent the views of parents, contribute to the school’s strategic direction, and support the leadership team in maintaining high standards of education and wellbeing for all pupils.
I see this role as an opportunity to give something back to the school community and to help ensure that it continues to prepare our children well for the future.
